Konstantin Petrosyan։ Anniversary Concert
On September 28, at 7:00 PM, at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall will take place the jubilee, author's concert of the famous Armenian composer, pianist, conductor, Honored Artist of Armenia, Movses Khorenatsi and St. Sahak and Mesrop Medalist Konstantin Petrosyan.
For the first time on the Armenian stage, Konstantin Petrosyan's "Chimes of the Homeland" - Cycle of Folk Songs" series of folk song arrangements and the world's only Concert for Voice and Big Band, conducted by the author, will be performed.
The concert, with the participation of renowned soloists, will also feature the composer's famous and legendary vocal-instrumental works.
The concert features:
• Armenia of State Chamber Choir (Artistic director and chief conductor: People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Robert Mlkeyan)
• Armenia State Jazz Orchestra (Artistic director: David Melkonyan)
• Special performance: "Arevik" Children's and Youth Ensemble of the Public Radio of Armenia (Artistic director: Vahe Hayrapetyan).
Soloists: Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia Anna Mailyan, Anna Vardazaryan, Daniel Melkonyan, Tigran Hakobyan, Nelli Manukyan.
