Concert Dedicated to the 105th Anniversary of Edward Mirzoyan
On February 18 at 7:00 PM, at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia will present a special concert dedicated to the 105th anniversary of Edward Mirzoyan, People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia and the USSR, distinguished composer, and prominent cultural figure.
The evening will open with an outstanding Baroque work — Johann Sebastian Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major (BWV 1068).
In the second part of the concert, the audience will enjoy Edward Mirzoyan’s Symphony for String Orchestra and Choir, considered one of the most significant masterpieces of 20th-century Armenian symphonic music.
Enjoy a journey through diverse musical styles, brought to life by the brilliant and powerful sound of the string orchestra.
