 Francophonic Tagharan: Francophonie Days in Armenia

As part of the Francophonie Days in Armenia, on March 24 at 7:00 PM, a concert entitled “Francophonic Tagharan” will take place at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, presented by the “Tagharan” Ancient Music Ensemble, featuring works by French composers.

Artistic Director and Conductor: Sedrak Yerkanyan, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Armenia.

Soloists:

• Tereza Voskanyan: organ
• Galina Tsolakyan: soprano (Laureate of international competitions)

1. Claude Balbastre:  Organ Concerto in D Major (Movements 1, 3, 4)
2. Jean-Baptiste Lully: Overture and Suite from the opera “Thésée”
3. Jean-Baptiste Lully: “Passacaglia”
4. Jean-Philippe Rameau: Prologue from the ballet “Zaïs”
5. Jean-Philippe Rameau: Overture from the “Zoroastre”
6. Daniel-François Esprit Auber: “Couplets of the Countess of Bourbon”
