On October 20 at 19:00, the "Hover" State Chamber Choir and the Vahagn Hayrapetyan Trio will present the concert program “Arrangements of Armenian Folk Songs” at the Komitas Chamber Music House.

The evening will feature jazz arrangements of traditional folk songs from Aparan and Hamshen.

The concert will feature the Armenian People's Artist, Professor Hakob Jaghatspanian, and international competition laureate Pardy Minassian.

Yervand Yerkyanyan – 75։ Jubilee Concert

On October 23, at 19:00, at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall “Tagharan” Ancient Music Ensemble presents a jubilee concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of composer, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, and the ensemble’s long-standing Artistic Director, Yervand Yerkanyan.

The concert features the Geghard Vocal Ensemble (Artistic Director — Mher Navoyan, Conductor — Anahit Papayan), the Yerevan State Chamber Choir (Artistic Director and Conductor — Kristina Voskanyan), the Komitas Choir of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (Conductor — Gayane Sahakyan), and the “Tagharan” Ancient Music Ensemble (Artistic Director and Conductor: Sedrak Yerkanyan, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Armenia).

On October 24, at 7:00 PM, at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, as part of the Vahagn Stamboltsyan Fourth International Organ Festival, a solo concert by world-renowned organist, composer, and major contributor to organ music Guy Bovet (Switzerland) will take place.
Guy Bovet is one of the most distinguished masters in the contemporary organ world; he has composed 220 works for the organ and recorded 50 albums.
He serves as a visiting professor at numerous prestigious European music academies, including those in Berlin, Vienna, Oslo, Helsinki, Dublin, London, and Marseille.

The founder of the choir is Harutyun Topikyan, a Meritorious Artist of Armenia and conductor, who led it from 1996 to 2021. His work played a key role in widely performing and recording Komitas's music. Paying tribute to this legacy, the anniversary concert program kicks off with the works of Komitas.
